Subdued Celebration
Yesterday was our anniversary my bf and I celebrated 9 years together with a bottle of champagne and a ready meal i had prawn and crab gyoza which turned out overly spicy and some chicken and coconut satay and some Thai fish cakes. I left most of it and enjoyed the champagne we watched attack on the block. We are going to London on Saturday to celebrate properly and we have booked to go on the London eye and a river cruise I'm hoping I'll feel better by then!

Rainy days, Medicine ... And Garlic Sauce!
Ive been a bit quiet recently I have caught a stinking cold so I haven't done much except watch lots of movies and eat beef casserole, it seems since Ive brought my slow cooker that's mostly what i fancy eating, especially when the weather is so miserable and cold.
I made a lamb casserole the other week which was tasty, I also made a chorizo and lentil one a few days ago I wanted to make it quite spicy to help see off this cold.
Next time I'll make it more spicier as it wasn't hot enough for my liking but i did add loads of garlic which is meant to be a good for boosting the immune system and I'm a massive garlic fan, Speaking of which i purchased some roasted garlic sauce from tesco the other day its amazing i first tried it on cheesey chips and it was really really good!! I can also recommend it on cheese on toast to make it into instant cheesey garlic bread!!

Deck The Halls
Whenever November begins i always feel nostalgic and think back to childhood Christmases cooking with my grandma and writing letters to Santa. I love the lead up to Christmas and i saw some lovely designs of cross stitch decorations this one is my first one i have made this year i have put it in a vintage frame that i purchased from a lovely antique shop in Hungerford
